60th San Francisco Delegation visits Osaka

From October 21 - 24, 2017 a 30-member delegation from San Francisco had a successful trip to Osaka to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the grassroots relationship!

Activities included:

- Cable Car Re-dedication Ceremony at Osaka Technical Institute

- Lunch with U.S. Consul General for Osaka/Kobe Karen Kelly

- Osaka "San Francisco" Matsuri/Festival in Abeno District

- Courtesy Call to Osaka City Hall

- Visit to Osaka Museum of History, Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, and Osaka City Science Museum

- Ceremony at Sumiyoshi Taisha

- Lunch at restaurants in national treasure historical Teranishi Family "Nagaya"

- Meeting with Osaka University President Nishio

- Osaka/San Francisco Joint Reception uniting with many friends from the 50th Anniversary

- Dinner and walking tour with SF/Osaka Youth Connect members
